The Information Systems III research group is headed by Prof. Dr. Jella Pfeiffer at the Institute for Information Systems (WIN). We focus on topics in Information Systems and digitalization, specifically intelligent and interactive decision support systems, e-commerce, and virtual reality commerce (VR commerce), as well as issues of sustainability and fairness in artificial intelligence algorithms.
In this context, we pursue both behavioral research approaches, aiming to theoretically understand and explain user behavior on digital platforms and in VR applications, and design-oriented approaches to develop and implement systems. For our research, we often apply data science methods, particularly classical machine learning and LLMs or eye-tracking and other Neuro-IS approaches.

This course is designed for students eager to comprehend the vital link between e-business operations and achieving sustainable development goals. Don't miss the chance to embark on this learning journey!
